No. 42

In honor of Jackie Robinsons anniversary on april 15th Griffey and Bonds will be wearing no 42 in his honor. I was thinking this is a great tribute and every team should have a player wearing his number on this day. I was thinking Tony Clark should be the Dback player and get the start that day, although I dont think it necessarily has to be a black player since Jackie Robinson really opened the door for all Minorities.

What do u guys think?

Yea, here's a link. Clark was offered, but gave it to O-Dawg since Hudson would play, but if Clark would have accepted it, Melvin would probably have given him the start, IMO.

That's kinda odd that only O-Dawg is going to be wearing 42. The whole Dodgers team will be wearing 42 on April 15th. It's going to suck for the ump to keep track of the changes, but I guess it's only for one day. They can live through it..
