Do You Guys Like Sutton?

Hey, brewer fan here. I was just wondering if you guys like Darron Sutton. We had him last year and he was always very, very emotional maybe too much sometimes but he was pretty good. Our new guy is just as good but yeah. So what are your thoughts on him? Do you hate him? Love him? Want him to stick the microphone in his mouth and not take it out? Or do you watch the games on mute?

Sutton doesn't have a great baseball voice like Brenneman, but he does have good insight on the game, something Thom lacked. I hope he doesn't overly recycle some phrases llike Thom did, but I think it's already started. I say that from a listening standpoint, he's OK, but not as good as Brenneman. From a baseball standpoint, he's good. He and Mark Grace have good chemistry, and so I think they're a pretty good team.

Schulte is our one good broadcaster, as he combines baseball smarts with good broadcasting. PUT HIM ON TV, like Boris said. The only problem I see is that according to interviews, he prefers radio, and since he's the longest standing member of the Diamondbacks broadcasting crew, a move at any time in his career to TV seems pretty unlikely.

By no means trying to undermine RealGM with this post - I love it here, especially for Suns talk - but DBBP has the largest group of informed Diamondbacks fans I've seen online, along with, yes, a never-ending Suns thread.

Suttons growing on me. I didnt like him at first, just the voice threw me off, but im starting to like him. Its hard to believe he truly has a routing interest in the team developed yet.
Yeah I like it when shulte does tv games.....Joe sr. Is by far my favorite announcer, I wish theyd Put Him and Grace both together some games....with sutton or shulte of course.

Sutton has good knowledge of the game and I think he's doing a pretty good job with Grace but Brennaman's a tough act to follow
