Damn you, Ortiz!

We definitely look like a young team out there...

Can't wait til Randy gets back. Word has it he's pitching S or M.

This thread is a week late but I'll use it anyway...

Went to the game today, got seats right behind the Dback's dugout. Great pitching from Doug Davis, much better than I expected coming into the game (even though he threw more balls than strikes). I was disgusted that Melvin didn't pinch hit for him when we had 1st and 3rd with one out after the sixth inning, but it paid off I guess.

'Twas a good game, I got my money worth booing Barriod every time he stepped to the plate or a ball was hit to him. The only bad part was the $40 I had to pay for two beers for me and my girlfriend :curse:

BTW- BorisDiaw3 should be mod of this forum. He's the only one intent on striking up a conversation here, so he deserves it.

Yeah, i also went to the game and it was one of the most entertaining ones i've been to in a while despite the low scoring.

I also lost my voice from booing bonds every time he was up to bat and caught a fly ball (which was quite a couple, actually.)

It's pretty damn awesome how Barry can draw an extra 10 thousand fans to the ballpark.. Hopefully management will finally grow some balls and sign us a power hitter so we can get attendance back up.

And I agree with you on BD3 being the mod... This guy's got absolutely nothing to do all day and posts his heart out on this site. It would only be fair to reward his contributions to this site... ;-)
