What do we need to do to improve the team? I think we need some more veteran bats. We have quality starting pitching but no run support. I bet if Seitzer was never our hitting coach, we would be at least a little bit better. But now that he's gone anyways I think we need more veteran bats. Maybe a rent-a-player or something but I doubt we will win a division as young as we are. I do have confidence in our youngsters but we do need some more power.


Thoughts?

While it's pretty easy to pin our troubles on hitting, I think the biggest problem with this team is SP. We've been inconsistent at best, and we've relied too much on Randy's arm, as well as Edgar and Micah. You gotta keep in mind that Randy's already on the decline and Edgar and Micah are still too young to confidently take us past the 6th inning.
