According to Dave Burns on 620, Johnson will be getting surgery next week.

He is done for the season, possibly his career.

I feel bad for Randy. So close to 300 wins and now can't stay healthy.

He said later on KTAR that theres still a chance he might come back.. I would've loved to see him get the strikeout record, but his back is jelly now.

I hope its not the end for RJ, he deserves to go out in a better way than the DL.
