Hernandez (6-7, 4.98 ERA)
vs

Lowe (8-9, 3.45 ERA)
The Diamondbacks and Dodgers continue their three-game series Saturday night at Dodger Stadium with the D-backs holding a two-game advantage over the Dodgers in the NL West.
Livan Hernandez will take the ball for the D-backs, as he looks to pick up his seventh win of the season. Hernandez, who is 1-4 in his last 10 games and is coming off one of his worst outings of the season in which he allowed a season-high eight runs to the Braves on Sunday, is 7-12 with a 4.41 ERA in 25 career starts against the Dodgers.
In his last start against the Dodgers, Hernandez went six innings and allowed just one run on six hits in a no-decision on May 1.
The Dodgers will send workhorse Derek Lowe to the mound as he returns after missing his last start due to a hip injury. Lowe is 2-5 with a 4.62 ERA in 10 career starts against the D-backs.
Lowe last faced the D-backs on June 27 and was outdueled by Brandon Webb, despite allowing just one earned run in six innings at Chase Field.
The D-backs have lost 7 of 10 to the Dodgers this season and are 2-3 at Dodger Stadium.
