The Season debut of Daniel Cabrera

Post#1 » by 20swish » Tue Apr 3, 2007 10:01 pm

Cabrera's got all the potential in the world he just needs to start living up to that potential and become more consistent. He has now had a full year of tutoring from Leo Mazzone, so if he is ever going to break out this would be the year.

Let's go Cabrera

If I remember correctly, Cabrera always pitches well against the Twins too.

If you take away that error he had that gave up the (eventual) winning run, he looked good out there. 20X better than Bedard.

But alas, 0-2.

Cabrera pitched extremely well, he got pretty unlucky to give up those 3 runs. Then again Tejada really saved him on that double play.

Cabrera pitched well now if we can just give him some run support we will be doing just fine.

And he needs to cut down on the walks. He's got the stuff, but its the small things that need to improve. For example, he can't hold runners. Twins were something like 4-4 in stolen bases last night. But other than that, his upside is tremendous.
Bickerstaff: who's up for kickball?!!
Ed Wood: Only if it's the no-pants variety.

Thats been his story for awhile. He needs to cut down on the walks, hold runners, and learn to field a little maybe.

Also it would be nice if the O's could find their bats sometime soon.

Man, I thought I would be alone on this but my opinion is that he flat out sucks.

I can't quite put my finger on it though. Maybe it's the walks, or maybe the balls he leaves in the middle of the plate, or maybe how he doesn't even bother to get into fielding position. I dunno, but it's just something about him makes me thinks he's not a very good pitcher. :nonono:

Yup, it's already been a long couple of seasons.
