I want a sweep. I really like how the starters match-up. Bedard vs. Kazmir should be an electric game.

Wow, Millar just got a bad deal on that call.
It should have been a double or a home run. Not a repeat of the at bat...
sad.

I was so irritated after that 4-run inning that I shut the game off. Only to check back a few innings later to see the O's up 8-7.
With the littany of injuries to the Yanks and Blue Jays, things are looking up.

Glad the O's won, but even gladder that Roberts played well. Loewen from the stats looks like he was wild, but I much rather he be a little wild in a game than get in the funk of throwing it over the middle of the plate that he got in at one point last season.

Loewen pitched well but the defense was atrocious and that kind of rattled him, I mean when was the last time he saw 3 errors on one play?

Agreed. I didn't like a lot of the things I saw out of Loewen, but I definitely likes his composure after making a few bad pitches that resulted in hits and runs. He kept himself calm and got out of a few innings with a lot less damage than what could have actually happened.

I konw it's early, but being over .500 is certainly a pleasant surprise and definitely lifted my spirits a bit.

If the bullpen continues to work like they are, they will still be in contention for a wild card spot or in the division race in July. My only worry is that Perlozzo doesn't overwork them early and then have nothing mid-season.

Not a sweep, but i'll take a 2 out of 3 on the road.
