Brady Anderson was always one of my favorite Orioles...that 1996 season was crucial...50 home runs & 110 RBI.

Just a remarkable year, I remember watching it, it was fun. Jim Palmer has said that he thought it was due to steroids. There's evidence, considering his lack of HR output during his other years. Did he juice for one year only? Here's the Palmer article, it's from 2004...I can't recall if Palmer has said anything else about it since then, but in the article he did bring up the drastic difference in home runs in his career.

Regardless, I like Brady Anderson, and was glad that he was with the Orioles for so long. He's a member of the Orioles Hall of Fame, here's an article about that:

He juiced it....like 100's of others.

I just dont' see a guy juicing it for one year though. It doesn't make sense. Either way I was amzed by that year. He was a great lead-off hitter for us and I just believe he had the luxury of swinging for the fences that year instead of just trying to hit for average the rest of his career. That makes alot more sense than saying dude juiced for one year.
