A-Rod opts out of contract with Yankees

Post#1 » by miller31time » Mon Oct 29, 2007 3:15 am

1. Is there any way he would want to sign with the Orioles, if we compensated him enough?

2. Would the worst owner in the MLB offer enough money to get A-Rod interested?

3. Would we be interested?

1. Hahahahahaha

2. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Just giving you a hard time Miller...

3. WE'RE interested in him...Angelos probably hasn't given it a second thought.

I think we'd see A-Rod sign with the Nationals (which I would love), before he'd sign with the O's.

Man, Angelos is horrible...

I think the Orioles would have to offer A-Rod a cut of the MASN earnings on top of his contract.

I really have a hunch that San Francisco will be a dark horse bidder in the A-Rod negotiations. They love long ball hitters, and quite possibly the only guy better than the one they just let go is out there for the taking. They could build around a younger guy who has similar power, and yet would probably fit in better on the team and wouldn't have to worry about steroid claims.

Just me thinking out loud....er....on a web page.

The Giants aren't going anywhere though. They don't have enough hitting even with A-Rod.
