At least the team isn't going to half rebuild/half contend and are going to blow this team up. Don't play around with your fanbase, and tell it like it is.
Astros fans, as far as I can tell aren't happy with this trade. Patton seems like a 2nd or 3rd guy in the rotation, Albers a 4th or 5th guy, and Constanzo, from what I've read is probably a year or two away. Basically, Houston cleaned out their farm system for this guy and are in need of pitching as a result.

That'd be nice. Been trying to find some quick scouting info on these guys but its mostly for subscribers.

sarfate is a good middle of the game type pitcher....he can hit 94, and has closer stuff (man imma miss him)
scott was a fan favorite in houston, every time he comes to bat we say luuuke! if he starts for you guys he should hit 6th, he has power.
contanzo was supposed to be our third baseman of the future. he is mediocre defensivly but has promise offensively.

I've read/heard that Costanzo is also a strikeout machine but I've never seen him so don't listen to me.

patton is the guy that i would love to keep....i hae heard bout this guy ever since he was in tomball high school( a high school in texas). he doesnt have a strong arm, but has potetial to be a good number 3 starter.
you guys will love him.
albers has funky stuff and should be a #5 starter.

Early returns and I'm loving the Tejada so far...
- Luke Scott has been absolutely amazing and could be a fixture with Adam Jones and Markakis in the OF for years to come. Didn't take long for the Luuuke chants to start in Camden Yards.
- Sarfate and Albers have been great in relief, neither have given up a run. Sarfate seems like a great setup man or potential closer. Albers great in long relief or a 5th starter.
That doesn't even include the major prospects. Patton is out for season with an injury and Costanzo had high slugging % in spring training and will spend the year in Norfolk.

Sarfate now 2-0 after a big strikeout in the 7th with runners on 1st and 3rd. He followed that up with a perfect 8th setting up Huff for the game winner.

I've read Sarfate can hit 100 mph on the radar gun and I agree, he definitely has late inning/closer potential which then makes Chris Ray expendable (or just go with Sarfate and Ray as your 1-2 punch late in games).
I really like the trades Andy made this offseason, he got productive players, and they are all on the cheap for the next 3-4 years.
