Glaus officially a Brave, will play 1b ...

Troy Glaus signed a one yr deal to play 1b for the Braves, the deal is for $1.75 mill with incentives that could reach $2.25 mill

If he can stay healthy and play 145+ games, I'd be happy if he could hit 20+hrs/90+ rbi .

Its not a bad signing at all. I'm glad we didn't give Laroche a billion dollars, but this is shaping up to be another year of pretty good Braves baseball without a postseason appearance.

Now if Glaus can come in and hit 35-40 HR's he would be a HUGE difference maker.

Like I said, I'm ok with the signing. Low cost, pretty good upside and he doesn't block Freeman.

I agree with you about Adam LaRoche and he signed with Arizona today.

I hope Troy Glaus stays healthy can hits over 30 HR's. Chipper will need all the help he can get!
