i think the fact that chipper is close to retiring is another reason for the move. when chipper retires the only real weapons that the braves have imo are mccann and prado.

I am liking Gonzalez an awful lot so far, seems like he and Prado have been turning double plays together for years. Wasn't expecting him to continue his power and I'm just happy that he is hitting for average (so far).

The two of them must have been friends before this trade, because not only do they have a great bond, but Gonzalez is staying with Prado.
