Mac getting the night off, took a foul ball off right knee in 5th inning of game 1, stayed in the game and played all 9 innings. Wish Fredi would have started Wilson at SS for game 2.

Only got to see Inning 9. Looks like it was a really good game. At least it was a win. Now, on to Game 2 and another win.

You can see the youth in JT. He's going to be really good, but right now, he's going to have a few tough innings. But that is what it takes to get the experience and become a potential Ace. We just need out bats to come alive and give him some run support to get him through 5-6 innings.

Good to see the kid get his 1st win last night. I can remember Freddie coming up late last year and thinking what the heck is the hype for this guy because I did not see anything I liked about him, but I now like him minus the striking out too much. Hopefully Teheran can turn out the same way because honestly I am not overly impressed. I think Delgado is better right now.

As for 2morrow it scares me that Alex and Jason have the best history against Edwin Jackson since neither is the picture of consistency right now.

JT is only 20. Pitched 5.1 innings of 5 hit ball. He's going to be fine. Nothing I saw yesterday left me feeling unimpressed. He's got all the tools to be a 1 or a 2 by the time he reaches 24. Just give him time and give him the ball so he can get the experience.
