MLB will not rule in our favor on the protest. Call was indeed wrong, but they will say it is a judgment call. They may go so far as to say the call was "likely" wrong, but won't go far enough to rule in our favor.

I understand the anger. But bottom line is, Atlanta put themselves in a big hole with 3 errors. 3 very costly runs scoring errors. And that is their own fault. Maybe our rally was cut off by a bad call, but we would not have been in the predicament of needing to rally but for the bad fielding. Honestly, I dont think Atlanta can say they were screwed out of the win. The call was bad. Maybe a rally would have gotten us some runs. But bases loaded with 1 out is no sure things. A grounder would have been a double play, and Mac is a slow runner. But regardless, the deficit was of their own doing. Atlanta lost. Our season is over.
