The Braves weren't expected to win championships every year, they weren't even expected to win the division some of those years. They should have beaten the Twins and the Blue Jays, but no one was gong to beat the Yankees. . They still won the NL those years and a division all 14 years.

I find it hard to believe Mets fans would be more upset if the Mets were winning the division every year and losing in the World Series than not winning anything. And I'm not saying the Braves have some great history, but the Mets are one of the last teams that should be talking like they're better.

If you were a Yankee fan your posts would be somewhat meaningful (not much), but they're beyond ridiculous coming from a Mets fan.

This is all in good fun, but you're the only Mets fan shameless enough to post in our forums. ;)

Really?!?! With that vaunted pitching staff they had - Glavine, Smoltz and Maddux?!? You must suffer from some serious short-term memory loss.
But then again, maybe it was the Atlanta fans who didn't expect championships every year. Maybe that explains why you guys had a hard time selling out playoff games :-?

No one said anything about any team winning the division title and making the WS every year and losing. That would be an entirely different matter. If memory serves me correctly, you guys got beaten in the NLCS more often than not. But staying with that point, yes, if that were the case with a NY team it would be a travesty and heads would roll. And no, we may not have the championship pedigree of a lot of teams but neither do the braves and that was my point.

Hey, no more ridiculous than one championship out of 14 division titles  That has to be at or near the top of futility records in sports   I think your posts are pretty ridiculous. What reason do you have to be so angry? Lighten-up and enjoy life. It's not that serious...

Really?!?!? I didn't know it was shameful to post in any particular forum  This is a baseball forum for baseball fans. Nothing in the rules says that I can't post here. Again, I have had civil exchanges with others on this board in the past. And what's funny is that I hardly if ever respond to anything that you post. So again, if you don't like my posts, ignore them. It's better than having a heart attack.

I'm not going to bother replying to everything you said because you just nit-picked and replied to half sentences and such. Pretty pathetic. Clearly you aren't capable of having an intellectual discussion so I'll just leave you alone in order to save the little self esteem you have left. :D

Cheer for other teams to beat us because the Mets can't. ;)
