Mark Teixeira and being thankful he's not a Brave

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Thu Sep 4, 2014 7:55 pm

We tried to extend Mark Teixeira during the short time we had him before he hit the market. I just read that he's owed $45 million through 2016. He has falling off due to injuries but I'm very happy that he decided not to sign back with us.

I enjoyed watching him during his time as a Brave but his career has taken a huge from due to the injuries.

I wasn't a fan of the trade, knowing he wouldn't resign with us. We practically gave up the farm to get him.

I concur.
Reality hit me when it was reported that he had not been looking for a house months after the trade.
