I expect this trade to happen and believe it's only being held up due to the Texas trade.

The only thing that really surprises me here is that we've taken a big injury risk. Not Dotel himself, but what do we do if any of our current rotation gets hurt? Bring Lerew back up?

I loved the Tex trade, and I'm glad to have Dotel on the roster - but can we win a WS with our current rotation? I'm not so sure about that, and obviously thats the ultimate goal.

I am hoping maybe we can try and get someone by trading Thorman possibly to be another pitcher. I think that would allow us to send Jo Jo back down for out backup.

it looks like JS is working on a deal with CIN for arroyo, thorman will definitely be part of that package since the reds lack a true 1B....they have hatteberg and and an aging conine
