I know we can (and have) beat any team we'll see in the playoffs, especially the Mets.

I'd give my first born child to satan for a chance to play the Mets in the postseason.

Hey why not? Regular season success = postseason success in the Braves' world, right??? NOT...One would think that you guys would know better after the 14 appearances you love to brag about so much. Guess not.....

Quit denying it. There's a reason all Mets fans are terrified to meet the Braves in the postseason.

What a terrible way to end the series. Maybe the Braves are afraid on sustained success.

Hey that's the difference between small and big market mentality. If that's all you aspire to do, you won't be that disappointed if your team makes the playoffs and makes yet another early exit. Did I formulate that argument clearly enough for you or should I break it down further?

our "small" market beat your big market 14 years in a row. sigh.

we have won the series more recently than you.

In more recent time (this year) we have beat you in every series. Please quit telling us that we suck when we seem to kick your ass almost every season.

  You are so thick, it's unbelievable

You still don't get it. Keep relishing in your 14 division championships and regular season success that amounted to one WS title. We're trying to win a WS. Nobody in NY is bragging that the Mets won a division title last year or that we squashed the braves (so what?). Apparently, we measure success differently

winning 14 straight division titles is something to be proud of as a fan, especially a baseball fan where the regular season is a much better determinent of the best teams than a 5 or 7 game shootout.

and you don't get it b.c we have won a world sereies more recently than you. Of course the goal is to win the world series, but you have to be in the playoffs to have a chance, and dominating your division for that long a period of time is quite and accomplishment. Whether you want to admit it or not, the Atlanta Braves have been MUCH more successful as a franchise over the last 15 years then your beloved mets....and it's really not even close at all.
