Posted about it earlier. No big deal, not a lot of money. They'll give him a chance to make the team, he could be insurance if Freeman gets hurt, could also provide some nice power off the bench late in games. I'm good with it.

Meh - the last 3 years, he's been under 100 OPS+. 86 last year. That's real bad for a 1st baseman. Can't complain since it's a minor league deal, but Freddie, please stay healthy.

Garcia comes undone in the 5th and 6th, allowing 4 runs in those two innings. Then Roe comes in and allows two more. Mets win 6-2 :banghead:

Kemp provided the only offense, with two solo HRs.

The pitching was awful.

Matt Kemp on the other had was the most exciting thing about the game.

Early game tomorrow in Pittsburgh.

Seems to me that the kept Rowe on the 25 man roster because he was out of options. Unfortunately, he's out of talent, too, so there's no reason to keep him on the roster.

The Pirates controlled the game basically since the first pitch.
I feel for the players having to play in the weather conditions. At one point during the game a good snow shower started up.
