Urena still hurt? I tried googling it, but whenever I type his name in all that comes up is "Urena hit Acuna".

This is almost too good a set-up for the Braves. I can't believe the Marlins made the playoffs in the first place. Braves need to avoid looking past them.

Braves start off slow, but a 6 run 7th inning secures the win for them 9-5!! Fried 4 runs in 4 IP(68 pitches, Snit pulled him to save for if game 5), Braves bats come alive after Acuna HBP and bullpen locks them down for 5 innings!

Wow, nice to have an offense that can score 6 runs in an inning when they need it. D'Arnaud with the big 3 run homer that broke a 4-4 tie.

Ian's up next. Must resist the temptation to look ahead to the Dodgers.

Great game yesterday.
Nervous until we opened it up bit the game was very exciting.

Ready for the first pitch today in about 40 minutes. Go Braves!!

Another great game from Ian Anderson. I think all his K's were from 87 MPH changeups coming after 95 MPH fastballs. He might have to "changeup" that pattern against the Dodgers - or maybe not. Tyler Matzek has been dominant in the bullpen lately. He makes our bullpen even deeper.

Braves win 2-0. Anderson pitched a gem in 5.2 IP, Braves pitchers hold the Marlins scoreless. Swanson and d'Arnaud solo HRs. The Braves became the 3rd team in MLB postseason history to pitch 3 shutouts in their first 4 postseason games, in one season, joining the 1966 O's and 1905 NY Giants.

After a single and back to back walks, the Braves had the bases loaded with no outs, and didn't get a damn thing. Duvall swung at 3 pitches out of the zone, Markakis lined out to LF, diving play by Dickerson saved two runs, Riley grounds out to SS.

Ugg, that was horrible by Duvall. Gotta tip the hat to Dickerson.

Sixto's hit 100 MPH a couple of times, but he's getting wild in the 3rd. Somehow has a low pitch count though. Wright's looking good with a 96 MPH fastball and his curveball's looking outstanding so far. As long as he's got his command, I like Wright's chances.

Edit: Oh my, D'Arnaud's been hotter than bleep this series. :nod:
