Just got the ESPN alert, Braves working on finalizing a deal to send Brandon Phillips to the Angels. No real details yet. Let's see what he brings back in return. I don't expect much, I guess he played at home in front of friends and family enough to please him for one lifetime.

Braves lose 6-2. The Cubs are on a roll. Now let's see how the Phillips' deal shakes out. I guess the deadline to finalize the deal is midnight, I just don't know if it's est or west coast time.

The Cubs are trying to help our draft position this weekend but other teams aren't helping us out much at all. I'm pretty confident we will finish with a Top 10 pick but it will be just our luck a Bryce Harper / Kris Bryant slugger will finally be available in the Top 5 in this draft and they will be just out of our reach. :banghead:
