I have had no issues in interactions with any MODS(not including a warning or suspension, I mean directly me with a MOD), since being active here in 2006. Then you came along, took a post of mine very personal when it wasn't even like that, we ended up going back and forth. Then I felt you were intentionally belittling me in public and yes I did report you to Howard Mass and went to Howard because I felt that was the highest MOD to go to.
I really felt you abused the powers of a MOD on here, toward me early last season. Aren't y'all held to a higher standard, to set example, to never stoop low in a situation and keep things calm?
I feel you really went low and said somethings on this forum for everyone to see, about me trying to get a clean slate so I could try to become a MOD for the Tampa Bucs board, that has been dead for two years. The things you said about that, really should have been said in a PM, not blasting me in a public thread. You guys warn us when poster to poster blasts/attacks, yet you lowered yourself and did it for everyone to see.

We agreed not to quote each other and kind of avoid each other. After that incident I think we were good the rest of the season. Now its the off season and its just you and me posting with occasional posts from HMFFL and ATL Boy, but not as active as in season, along with a few other regulars that aren't currently active here, it's really me and you active. When I disagree or add my opinion to me you seem to maybe take it personal. I'm not trying to attack you. Maybe I'm wrong in that, I apologize.

As far as if you are a Braves fan. I believe you. IDK man seems we never agree, the recent Dansby thing and I was going by your fav baseball team logo under name. That's why I was skeptical. I'm sorry I said that.

You're more than welcome to post here.

ATL Boy, sorry If you need to warn or suspend me, that is fine. Only posts about Braves offseason from here on out.

I'm not looking to warn or suspend anybody. I value both you guys as posters on our Braves board and as posters on RealGM in general. I'd just love to move past this and continue having civil conversations among ourselves about the Atlanta Braves moving forward.

Spoiler:
^My reaction when I hear the new GM might be considering including Acuna in trade talks.

:)

Just saw a headline. Probably misread it.

I agree with the board that Acuna should be untouchable outside of MIke Trout or another all time talent.

Yelich is disgruntled, other teams know this. The Marlins do have all the leverage here but the longer they wait to trade him the less leverage they'll have. This time next year he'll be a year older with one less year of team control after a season in which Miami accomplishes nothing.

I'd be willing to part with a lucrative package of players headlined by one of Allard or Soroka if it meant getting Yelich right now. Acuna is a complete deal breaker, however, and the more time that passes the weaker the Braves' trade proposal package should be.

Talking Chop website, suggesting trading for Reds LF Adam Duvall. Not as good as Yelich, but would be a cheaper option.

Chipper, Vlad, Thome and Hoffman elected for the MLB HOF in this summer.

Those are the 4 players I thought would get in.

All deserving.
Glad Chipper made it now and not later.
I created it's own topic and just now saw you posted this.

AA says he wants more power in lineup in 2018. Well sitting around doing nothing won't help. A power bat in Todd Frazier just signed with rival Mets for 2 yrs $17 mill :banghead:

I'd love to play meaningful baseball into September this year. It won't happen with no real cleanup hitter in the lineup this year. We need to sign a couple of free agents soon.

MLB.com's Jesse Sanchez reports that the Braves have expressed "serious interest" in Eduardo Nunez.
Nunez could take over as the Braves' starting third baseman, shifting Johan Camargo to a utility role. Atlanta thinks that third base prospect Austin Riley could be ready to take over at the hot corner as soon as 2019, but Nunez has the flexibility to move to another position or become a super utility player if need be. The Rays, Yankees and Red Sox are also in on the 30-year-old.

Pitchers and catchers have reported. My baseball fever is always at an all-time high this time of year.

For those hoping to sign Machado as a FA,

Read on Twitter

We would want him at 3b, with Albies already at SS.

Rays just DFA'd 2017 all star Corey Dickerson. He had a rough 2nd half of the season but would be an upgrade from Nick Markakis if we make a move for him (he would also cost $6 mil this season and is under team control through next season). Probably wouldn't require us to give them a big time prospect either.

Braves are also in the process of working out a deal with Peter Moylan who was stingy against righties last season (.163 BA against). I'm all for this move, it helps the 'pen and brings back a former fan favorite.
