Mike Soroka (Achilles, shoulder) has yet to resume a throwing program.

Soroka was supposed to be shut down for two weeks after developing some right shoulder soreness, but that was nearly three weeks ago and he's still not throwing. The Braves have reiterated that Soroka's shoulder is structurally sound, but obviously they want to make sure all of the inflammation is out of there before he throws again. It's going to be a while before he rejoins the rotation.

Max Fried (hamstring) is on track to rejoin the Braves' rotation next week against the Nationals.

The Nats play the Braves from May 4-6. Fried threw a bullpen session Monday and is slated to throw live batting practice later this week. He's nearly two weeks removed from a right hamstring strain and is a little over a week from a return.

Blue Jays won 13-5. Braves pitching allowed 13 runs, 7 walks and 6 HRs.

$11 mill to Smyly, while letting O'Day, Greene and Melancon go. :banghead:

I didn't like the 11m when we signed him. In understand we can't keep everyone that we like but Smyly wasn't the guy to give the money too.
