http://blogs.ajc.com/atlanta-braves-blo ... raves_blogI have no problem with those raises for Prado and Jurrjens. Hopefully they can make deals with Moylan and EOF .

Moylan and EOF also avoided arbitration and sign new deals this evening,
Relief pitchers Peter Moylan ($2 million) and Eric O’Flaherty ($895,000) also agreed to terms as the Braves again avoided going to hearings with any of their four arbitration-eligible players who had been unsigned.

I love how the Braves do arbitration. I don't know if it's the quality of the front office or the players (probably both?) but it seems like fair deals are easily agreed to every season.

Yeah, I think the last time a Braves player had an arbitration hearing was Marcus Giles back in '03 or '04 .

I'm fine with the new contracts. Bruce Chen just signed for $3 million, so if Jurrjens stays healthy it's a bargain, but I don't look forward to the day that earns his big contract.
