Feels nice to finally have an early lead, 4-0 Braves in the 3rd. Chased out Bumgarner after 68 pitches and 4 ER.

Chipper now dealing with pain in right knee
hipper Jones' surgically repaired left knee hasn't provided him any problems for nearly two months. But the veteran third baseman's right knee bothered him enough Friday night that he told Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez that he might not be ready to play against Tim Lincecum and the Giants on Saturday afternoon.
"I've got some pain in the lower inside of my knee that is preventing me from pushing off and cutting and stuff like that," Jones said after Friday night's 4-1 win over the Giants. "It's just a really sharp pain. I don't know why it's doing it. But it's been doing it for the past 10 days or so. Game is tied at 1 in the 4th, Lincecum has walked 3 and been to a 3 ball count to half of Braves batters so far. Braves have had multiple chances to do more damage of Lincecum, but have left runners on base.

Braves win 5-2, Hudson 8.2 IP 9 H 2 R 0 BB 4 Ks 112 pitches. Fredi brought in Kimbrel for final out vs Posey with runner at 2b.

I wish Timmy finished out the game. I listened to the bottom of the 9th on the radio to going to work.
I'm just thankful we won.

I do to, was watching on tv. Hudson was laboring in the 9th and was at 112 pitches when Fredi took him out. There was a runner at 2b and Posey coming up to pinch hit. I really wanted to see Huddy get the CG, but it was nice to see Kimbrel come in and throw 95mph+ pitches to Posey.
