Beachy comes out at beginning of 3rd inning, left oblique strain, was warming up for the 3rd. Solid two innings from Martinez in relief.

Braves get two on in the 5th, 2b and 3b, Christian Martinez helps himself with a 2 rbi dbl down LF line. Game tied at 3 going into the 6th, first career MLB hit and rbi's for pitcher Martinez.

Alex leads off the 6th with a single, followed by Ground Rule dbl by Mather. Runner's at 2b and 3b, WP from Hamels, Alex scores from 3b. 4-3 Braves going into the 7th

Philly ties the game at 4 in the 7th off Victorino rbi single, pitch before that to Victorino was down the middle, should have been strike 3, rookie ump calls ball. Mac has words with him, Chipper has to calm Mac down. Nobody tossed.

Braves currently have bases loaded for Uggla with one out in their half of 7th inning.

Bottom of the 9th, Chipper on 1st, and one out.

Brave lose 5-4, rookie ump at home plate gift wrapped the victory for Philly.

Pitchers duel going on today, Hudson vs Halladay. Braves up 1-0 in the 5th.
