Mets tie the game in the 4th on a gift wrapped run from HP Ump. Reyes scored on a Beltran single. Before that Reyes hit a dbl, tried to stretch it to a triple, Uggla had him thrown out at 3b by a foot and a half, Ump said he was safe.

Mets up 3-1 going into the 5th. Beltran scores on RBI dbl, had Mac held on to the ball, Beltran was out. Mets add another run on an rbi single.

Flood gates opened up after horrible call by the ump. Also I like that Fredi never came out to argue the call at 3b.

Schafer leaves the game in the 5th, attempted to lay down a bunt, ball bounced up off the bat and hit him under right eye. So now our CF is done tonight, Nate on DL and Umps screwed us.

Mather moves to CF, Hinske in to play RF.

I was wondering what had happened. I saw him holding his eye walking back to the dugout but not reply.

Update on Schafer: Has been taken to a local hospital in NY.
