The Muts started off with an early lead.
Uggla with a solo HR to make it 4-3.
It's the bottom of the 8th, so we need more.

Philly has a double header against the Marlins today.
It's going to be a difficult task for us today, but we need the win, and hopefully Timmy pitches well (sketchy lately).

The weather is really bad in Atlanta right now. I had to turn my TV off since the power kept going off and on. I hope these thunder storms pass soon so the game will start.

Atlanta sports writers Mark Bowman and Dave O'Brien both tweeted it is raining and hailing at Turner Field.

Mets lead 1-0 in middle of the 1st, Reyes lead off dbl, E9 on Heyward(throwing), Reyes to 3b, Reyes scores on a ground out.

Mets up 3-0 in the 4th, Pagan 2 run HR to RF. Again this kid Gee owning us, has allowed one hit to the Braves. Gee went 7 IP 4 H 0 ER (W) on June 4th vs Braves.

Chipper drew a 2 out walk in the 4th, next batter Alex is hit by a pitch just above right elbow, ump says it hit the bat. Alex argues, says look at the bat, no marks. Call by ump stands, Alex pops out to 1b to end the 4th.

Our guys are not patient at the plate, a lot of 1st and 2nd pitch outs. Gee also has 5 K's to go with 1 H allowed. Mets have 3 runs on 5 hits off Hudson through 4 IP.

Fish had a 4-2 lead in the 9th, their closer Nunez picks up a blown save, 2 run single by Victorino. Tied at 4 in the 10th.

Philly sweeps the dbl header, win game two 5-4 F/10
So if we lose tonight, we will be 5 games back. Had we won the 4th game vs Astros, we would have moved to 1.5 back.
