Nate McLouth's Contract

Post#1 » by HMFFL » Fri Jul 1, 2011 2:56 am

I never supported the trade that acquired him, so I look forward to the off-season, and us buying his contract out. Nate is owed $10.65 million but his buyout is $1.25 million.

I liked the trade, injuries slowed him a bit. He won't be back next season, but his $$$ off the books will be nice.

Hopefully, we can use that money to lock up some of these young guys :)

The ownership will still need to reach deep into their pockets to pay the young talent we have. We need Lowe's contract off the books, but he has one year left, and I doubt we'll be able to trade him.
