Very doubtful, Mark Bowman and Dave O'Brien have said the Braves likely won't call him up when rosters expand. They don't want to rush him, even though he has been tearing up the Minors.

I'm happy for former Braves Brian McCann and Evan Gattis, as the Astros won the World Series last night. Especially McCann, was with the Braves longer. Wish he could have won one in Atlanta. Happy for both players.

Ditto. Chipper and Glavine are my favorite Braves. But McCann is in my top 5.

STL had a trade agreed upon with Miami for Station but he won't waive his no trade clause. He also won't agree to a trade to play for the Giants. If our Braves become a true contender within the next eight years this is great news for us..lol

Longoria traded to the Giants for three top 30 prospects, 3b/SS Christian Arroyo(#1), P Matt Krook(#25) and P Stephen Woods(#29). Longoria has 5 yrs about $83 mill left on his current deal.

Surprising that the Giants included such a good prospect in Arroyo. I've always been impressed by Longoria, but at 32 and coming off a bad year... sounds like a move the Giants are going to regret.

Feels like a desperation move on their part after missing on Stanton and Ozuna. Feels like they had their heart set on a big name and just got impulsive.

I hope Longoria has nothing but success now. I hate saying that since he's with the Giants, but I would like to see him do well, and to have a chance at a ring, if the Giants make it back during the short-term.
