Braves placed RHP Tommy Hanson on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to August 7, with rotator cuff tendinitis.
Recent tests revealed no structural damage in Hanson's shoulder, and he had been in line to start Tuesday after skipping his last outing, but evidently the Braves have decided to play it safe here and DL him. We haven't heard about a setback, so we're assuming this is just precautionary and Hanson will be back on or around August 22 when he's eligible. Mike Minor just pitched Friday, and Jair Jurrjens can't be activated from the DL until Wednesday, so the Braves might have to call someone up from Triple-A to start Tuesday.

Tommy Hanson to DL but because he didn't pitch in 8 days he gets off that DL in 7 days, I don't think its a bad thing because Hanson has been bad and might just need some rest to clear his head, JJ is penciled in to pitch Wednsday but we don't have a starter for Tuesday, Randall Delgado would be called up because he's next in line.
