I really really hope JJ has his stuff back. His pitching of late has left me with serious doubts of his health and endurance. We need the offense to start strong so if JJ starts to struggle, Fredi can yank him out quickly. Dont want to see us get behind by 3-4 runs early.

Certain teams we just have problems with like Washington and I am thinking Chicago is no different. We really need to take this series 3-1. Philly dropped two game to us lately we need to keep that momentum. We have 2 series left against them. We need to be 4 games or less back to them by the next time we play them to have a real shot.

Ok what a Birthday Gift it'll be if we knock off the hot Cubs and if the Phillies lose tonight. :D

Win, lose or draw, I still hope you have a Happy Birthday! But I really do hope the Braves give you a victory tonight. :-)

Bourn
Prado
Mac
Uggla
Freeman
Jones
Gonzalez
Constanza
Jurrjens

Constanza's last 6 games, .176/.263/.176, there is a RH on the mound tonight and no Heyward. I hate to sound like a broken record, but I'm afraid Fredi will damage his relationship with Jason.

We are winning so most will just bite there tongues on the RF situation but we have less than 35 games left all of this shuffling needs to stop. If he is going to stick with Constanza do so, if not he needs to bring himself to stick with Jason. The love affair with Constanza will be over with another subpar series and we will see what attitude Freddie takes with Constanza. I just think coming down the stretch run Chipper is the only one who needs days off. Everyone else that is going to be a regular should play everyday. Winning 100 games, being on an upward trend, catching the Phillies, and having your big guns hot going into the playoffs should be our goals for these last 30 plus games and I don't see how you can say that you feel that Constanza has a better chance of helping you do that than Heyward. Teams are going to make him hit the ball in the air to beat them from now on out. Play in on the grass make him hit it in the air and you take away most of his best asset which is his speed. Heyward might not work either but I would take my chances with him over a guy that is not part of a future that I don't see getting the job done either. Heyward had a 3 game hitting streak before getting a day off he did not need.

All is well that ends well though. If we win it all who cares, give me Hinske if that means winning it all.

I hope he is on a short leash tonight. Cannot afford to get down to the Cubs early.

Chipper nearly went back to back with Freddie, but that Chicago wind knocked it down, flied out at warning track in RF.

Hopefully having an early lead helps boost Jurrjens confidence.

Uggla pads the lead with a solo HR to LF, that left the park. Literally and seriously. Chip Carey said that one landed on Waveland Ave. 3-0 Braves in the 6th

That was Uggla's 30th HR, his 5th consecutive season with at least 30 HRs.

Alex with a 2 out walk in the 6th, Constanza follows with an infield single. Jose rolled his ankle as his foot landed on 1b, Jason to come in for him. 2 on 2 out for Jurrjens.
