Derek Lowe
Last 3 Starts: 1.50 ERA

Cliff Lee

Philly is probably angry after how yesterdays game ended. The Marlins had the bases loaded in the bottom of the 14th and the Philly pen walked in the winning run. The Ump missed a strike call that made it 3 balls before the pitchers eventually threw ball 4. This has occurred two times in the past month.
Philadelphia Phillies 88 48 .647 --
Atlanta Braves 82 57 .590 7.5

Lowe needs to pitch like he has been the last few games, we need a sweep if we want to have any chance at the division crown. I believe in this team, we need to take it one game at a time starting tonight.

Bourn and Freddie Freeman have no business starting if Freddie G is really about history because both are horrible against Cliff Lee and Heyward has better history than both against Lee. Just another reason why Freddie G is poison.

Re: Atlanta (82-57) @ Philadelphia (88-48)
I have no problem with the lineup tonight.
Matt Diaz has done well against Cliff Lee, but I expect Heyward to eventually replace him at some point during the game, so we'll see if we can get Cliff Lee out by the 7th inning.
Jose Constanza is probably just being tested against Philly.
With the way Cliff Lee has been pitching it possibly won't even matter who we have in the lineup. I just hope Lowe pitches well and doesn't make it a blow out in favor of Philly.
7.5 games back! I'm guilty of thinking "what if" we sweep Philly.

Lowe is already making mistakes early on. We need a double play right here to end the 1st.

Lowe = Trash way to go u useless waste of money, Lowe needs to go, at least into the bullpen Id rather have minor or delgado pitching

I think we can all agree that Lowe shouldn't start one game for us during the postseason. Fredi has to be intelligent enough to realize that. It's bad enough we have Lowe under contract for one more season.

Hope the offense shows up at some point, otherwise Philly will have an 11 game lead pretty soon.

Fredi should go with his playoff lineup. Maybe he did tonight (minus Chipper), but something has to give, because getting shutout against Philly is not acceptable.
Cliff Lee has won his last 7 starts. During that time he has only given up 6 runs. 4 in one game and 2 in another.

I'd rather have Heyward in the lineup, than Constanza.

Re: Atlanta (82-57) @ Philadelphia (88-48)
i'll guarantee you that the FO and Fredi likely want Heyward in the starting lineup as well. I want him in there as well. But he has got to take advantage of the situation when he is in the game and do something good. It cannot just be given to him. In my honest opinion, Constanza is more deserving of the playing time than Jason. I dont want that to be the case, but when watching the games, I feel more confident of Constanza at the plate than Jason. I think he can fight through it and take his starting job back. I want him to do it. But he just has to show everyone he has made the adjustments and can be a serious threat with the bat again.
Another thing to consider is that Constanza is showing he can be a legitimate starting Right fielder. Would not surprise me at all if Wren and company are having him get all this playing time and exposure so that he becomes a hot comodity come the Winter Meetings. I have faith in the FO, and I have to believe they know what they are doing.
