Tough 2-0 win. Hard fought. Now, need the Cards to beat the Nats, but Nats up 4-3 in the 8th.

Jenrry Mejia takes the mound for the Mets. He has a very good outing his time out.

I love the run support. Kris Medlen should receive his 10th win of the season as long as the bullpen holds up.

Braves win 6-2, Medlen has the record to himself. Braves have now won 23 straight games started by Kris Medlen, he was tied with Whitey Ford and the Yankees at 22.

Nats lose. 3 games behind, but only 3 to play. Medlen is the Ace of this staff - period. This kid is tremendous.

Paul Maholm takes the mound today against his former team (Pitt) and is going after his 14th win of the season.

Jeff Locke (Pitt) has a 6.35 era. He has been hit hard during his last three outings, and has received no run support during his last two outings, so hopefully that's the case tonight.

I love Fredi's decision to pull Medlen after 79 pitches, we need to look at the big picture which is the wild card playoff game (if we don't win the division) 23 straight wins with Kris on the mound is tremendous but its all for not if he doesn't make it 24

Very true. Need him ready to go in the WC game. Cards will not be an easy out by any means. And Medlen gives us our best shot at victory. Then he can rest up and pitch Game 3 and 6 in the next round.

Philly leads Washington 2-0, we need to sweep; we win and Washington loses means we're down by just 2 and all the pressure is on that young team

Ugh, we had a golden opportunity to put some serious pressure on the Nats and we blew it, it's Medlen time this friday, well there is a silver lining to all this which is the fact that we can rest some players these last 2 games
