LMAO, he isn't even worth that. If Jair returns to his form he can be a all-star, Minor is a leftie starter if he ever lives up to potential, and Pastornicky is a good ball player. Greinke may be a Ace but he is not worth all that.
No to that trade. Jair and Pastornicky yes but not Minor, he is a lefty and they always have bloated value
Finally, look at what the guy is making. 13.5 mill to Jairs 5.5, we are going to take on 7.5 million prorated for this guy and give up all that? Hell naw

Honestly, its probably a fair trade. Though you'll only agree with me if Greinke helps you to the world series.

No, it is not a fair trade in any way shape or form. You want 3 guys that started the season as starters for us plus you want us to more than double up there salaries for one player? That is just stupid. How many Cy Youngs does Greinke have? How many world series does he have? How many times has he been to the playoffs? These are the things that great Braves pitchers have done.

He has 1, he won one with the Royals in 2009. Also not his fault the Royals drafted him and he spent the majority of his young career there.

Cool, he has 1 and he is a hell of a pitcher from what I can see would be a upgrade and the Ace from Day 1 but for 3 players that started the season as starters and he would cost more than double what 3 players do. Add to that you now basically have no assets to trade. We need another bat as long as our 3,4,5, and 6 are going to be Chipper, Dan,Uggla, and Freddie and they are not going to do anything more than what they are currently doing.

I never said I agree with trading Jurrjens, Minor and Delgado for Greinke. Just pointing out that you don't want him, because you think he has not won a Cy Young and has been to the playoff 0 or 1 times.
Chipper is hurt, Freddie still has an injured finger and eye issues, so can't really hate on them. When Freddie has been healthy this yr, he has been good. Uggla is leading NL 2b in All star voting, are you bashing him because of the recent two week slump he is in?

No, I think Uggla has been inconsistent from day 1. He was horrible for 3 of the 6 months last year he just go incredibly hot.

I like the trade, Greinke is a true ace and would kill in the rotation, JJ is due for a pay day anyway if we intend to keep him (boras client) so Im not looking at the money, and Minor has been flat out awful and is one of the few draft picks Wren has made a mistake with, and Pastornicky is just deph from the minor leagues at this point

Re: Brewer Fan Trade Idea
This is the easiest yes ever, Jurrjens is on pace to be non-tendered this off-season (unless he really returns to form), Minor has never projected to be more than a 3rd or 4th starter, and Pastornicky is going to be nothing more than a servicable utility player (think Brent Lillibridge) who has neither the offensive spark that Conrad has or the defense that Jack Wilson has. No way the Brewers do a deal unless they are getting Minor and a good prospect in return.
Frankly, I don't see the Brewers trading him at all as they really need get him signed to an extension, otherwise they're back to where they were 2 years ago with Gallardo and a bunch of garbage in their rotation next year. Greinke has been a Top 10 pitcher in baseball over the past 5 years and the Braves would kill to have a solid ace like that in their rotation. With all the salary coming off the books this season, they could afford an extension for Greinke as well, but I don't see the Brewers letting go of him.
