The odd man out in the Oakland Athletics’ rotation wants to be gone for good. Left-hander Tommy Milone has asked the club to trade him, major-league sources tell FOX Sports. The A’s sent Milone to Triple A on July 5 after acquiring right-handers Jeff Samardzija and Jason Hammel from the Chicago Cubs.

I would rather have him than Minor or Wood. Look at his career numbers and even this year.

Seems like Milone has more consistent control then Minor, Minor strikes out more and gives up more HRs. Both are still fairly young, but I'm losing faith in Minor. He was really good for about 1 and half of his 4 seasons so far.

I won't lose faith in Minor just yet despite being extremely frustrated with him: he had that spell where he pitched amazing baseball consistently so we're not banking on just potential alone (looking at you Tommy Hanson), he was the 9th pick overall not too long ago, and he's only 26.

Minnesota traded for him today.
They only gave up Sam Fuld from my understanding.

Man we may could have gotten him for Schafer.
