I'd like a new Manager, new hitting coach, BJ traded or released. I hope Lester wants to play close to his home and signs with the Braves. We need upgrades to the offense and bullpen. I'd like to see Walden,Russell, Varvaro stick around,we know Kimbrel isn't going anywhere, but I'd like to see Carpenter, Hale and Avilan replaced.

We have to get a traditional leadoff hitter and at least one situational hitter. I can't sit through another season of this lineup and why did we give CJ a new deal? I think Gosselin could handle 3B.

I wouldn't mind John Hart, who was named interim GM, to stick around as full time GM.
Also the Braves better fire Fredi too.

This right here pisses me off, Fredi still has Cox's approval as Braves manager.

Fredi should be fired as well.

On MLB Network they made it sound like we will rebuild and trade some young pieces but on an ESPN.com video they say we are only a starting 3B and a few mid tier Free agents away from contending. This is going to be an interesting offseason.

Braves offered John Hart the GM position full time.

I read about that, he says he wants to take his time and think about it. I wonder if he was GM, if he would fire Fredi, but Bobby doesn't want that, so I wonder if Hart is hesitant on taking the job. Fredi needs to be fired, I don't know why the Braves didn't do it when they fired Wren.

I'd be okay with this as long as we keep Coppolella on and don't lose him to another team.

Yeah, we could use an upgrade at 3b and one of the outfield spots. I hope we keep J Up. BJ should definitely go. I would LOVE if we could some how get Altuve from the Astros. He could be our lead off hitter, imagine him and J Hey batting in front of, J Up, Freeman and Gattis.

Jon Heyman from CBS thinks Hart will take the job for a year or two to clear the books for Coppolella. He thinks we will have an all new OF for next season and we may be in for a few rough seasons and he also said that Hart really likes Fredi. Ugh!

I'm not sure we can afford what J Up will command in a light marker of OFs next offseason. Hopefully we can work out something reasonable with J Hey, I still have hope for that.

Here's what I would do IF I were GM, as far as the roster goes.
The Braves have $27 mill coming off the books, Santana(14 mill), Doumit(3.5 mill), Floyd(4 mill), Laird(1.5 mill), Minor(traded in my post, 3.85 mill), if we could trade BJ while finding a team to help pay some of his salary, we may be able to do the moves in this post.
Sign James Shields to a 3 yr/$51 mill deal(Don't think we'll be able to afford Lester and J Up extension)
Sign Justin Upton to a 4 yr/$66 mill extension($16.5 mill per season)
Re-sign Aaron Harang to a 1 yr/$3 mill deal
Sign Colby Rasmus to a 4 yr/$40 mill deal
Trade BJ Upton
Trade Mike Minor, Tommy La Stella and pitching prospect J.R. Graham(has closer potential) to the Astros for Jose Altuve.
Sheilds
Teheran
Wood
Harang
Medlen
2b Altuve
RF Heyward
LF J Up
1b Freeman
C Gattis
CF Rasmus
SS Simmons
3b Johnson

BJ for Jose Reyes would solve the leadoff question but you only do that if he can play 3rd.

Pretty sure that's there longterm idea. The players they want to keep they signed them to longterm extensions last offseason. Would not be surprised to see Heyward, J Up, and Gattis all gone and I am pretty sure Heyward will be one of the biggest mistakes the franchise ever made.
