Smoltz in HOF on 1st try....

Smoltz is the first pitcher in the HOF, who had the Tommy John surgery during their career.

Nice link. I also believe people like Tommy John should be in the hall, he's arguably done more for the game than anyone else by coming up with the career saving procedure.
