Only 3 days away!!
With the addition of Cahill our rotation looks like, Teheran/Miller/Wood/Cahill/Stults. Can't wait to see the line up, will EY, Markakis or Jace lead off?? Also I'm kind of hoping Kelly Johnson makes the team, he'd be a good 4th OF'er/utility guy.

In a rain delay, after 1.5 innings. Game was at 4, Marlins had a 24 minute opening ceremony and had the roof open of their dome open. Hello, anybody who lives in FL, knows the weather can change quickly, and most often then not, it rains in the afternoon.

Teheran allows a 2 out double to their pitcher followed by and RBI 2 out single by Gordon. Game tied at 1-1

Markakis 2nd RBI of the day, puts the Braves back in front. 2-1 in the 6th.

Teheran struggles in the 7th, faced 3 batters, leaves with bases loaded and no outs. Braves go to the pen, up 2-1

Avilan comes in, Salty hits into a double play, to 3b Callaspo throws to home plate, runner out, Bethancourt throws to 1b, Salty out.

The Bullpen gets us out of the bases loaded with no outs jam, Braves lead 2-1 headed to the 8th

Avilan, Johnson and Grilli get the job done out of the bullpen. Grilli strikes out 2 in the 9th and picks up his first save as a Brave. Braves win 2-1.

That was huge - the media would have destroyed the Braves management if they started out with a blown save.

Great opening win against a division rival! If Grilli and Jim Johnson can get back into their form of two years ago, our bullpen will be alright. SMALLBALL!

Same lineup tonight, except C Johnson is starting at 3b, not Callaspo.
