Trade ideas

It's a hard thing to come up with good trade ideas, because fans typically overrate their favorite players and get heated about it. But I'll take a shot, anyway. Braves seem to talk to the Dodgers a lot. With Kershaw going down, Dodgers are in major danger of missing the playoffs, and we know they'd LOVE to get Teheran to plug the hole for the rest of the regular season. They have arguably the top prospect in baseball in 19 year old lefty Julio Urias. I'd trade Teheran and Markakis to the Dodgers for Urias and Puig. I know people question Puig as a head-case, but the reports are that he's now actually a favorite in their clubhouse - and has totally refreshed how people think of him. His stats are down again this year, but he's coming back to his old self with the bat. After a terrible May, he's OPS+'d 118 in June and 114 so far in July, and he's 25.
With Markakis still having 2017 left on his contract, it's a benefit for the Braves to get rid of him. His OPS+ is 91 vs Puig's 90, so the Dodgers can justify playing him.
This trade saves the Dodgers season - as they were so dependent on Kershaw (I think they were 14-2 when he pitched.). And the Braves get the top pitching prospect in baseball (a 19 year old lefty who has already reached the majors) and a gifted 25 year old OFer with power - while relieving themselves of Nick's contract.
