then i would let Fried, Povse, Weigal and a couple cheap vets fight it out for the last spot. can let blair, jenkins and other older prospects in too.
if we are going to spend a lot on a pitcher, i would rather get one vet relief guy to pair with Cabrera, Morris and Minter. would rather dump a lot on a catcher like ramos.

You don't have to spend big money on any of the vets that I mentioned. I don't think it would be wise to go with Teheran and 4 of the youngsters.That is a disaster waiting to happen. I can't believe that you really want to go with that. Right now only Folty and Wisler look ready. Do you want to lose more than we did this season?? IMO Newcomb, Blair, Jenkins need more time in the minors. You don't want to rush all of our young starters.
I think adding a vet or two is very wise, on 1-2 yr deals until these kids are ready.
Also,Ive said this before, I highly doubt the Nats let Ramos go.
