Julio Teheran is good awful. Looks like he'll give up between 30-40 HRs again this season.

Markakis RBI dbl, P Tucker 3 run HR 4-4 in the 2nd. Braves had a brief lead before Teheran allowed his 2nd HR of the night.


Previous DOB tweet should have read 3-0 Nats in the 1st.

The first two innings have been amazing. 8 runs.
3rd inning 1 run and two runners on the bases.

Good win. I'm excited about the firepower the offense is generating.

However, with that being said, we have next to no hope of doing anything meaningful as long as the rotation is this bad. Great offense will cool down and hit dry spells eventually, and it doesn't look like we have the pitching to get through that.

Teheran is awful btw, I hope we part ways with him sooner rather than later.

Good thing the offense showed up and won us the game, because Teheran did not show up. 2.1 IP 6 H 5 R 5 ER 3 BB 2 K 3 HR

Thru two starts for Teheran 8 IP 10 H 9 R 9 ER 6 BB 5 K 4 HR 10.13 ERA He should be 0-2, luckily the offense won us both game after he exited the game.


Coppy and Hart screwed us out of getting a top of the line work horse to head the rotation, when they didn't take advantage of getting one when Sale was available.

I know I keep repeating that, but that one will bite us in the ass awhile. We have all these young stud pitching prospects, but they are still 1-2 years away from being up in Atlanta and having an impact. We could have afforded Sale, without leaving our farm system depleted.

Man who is Preston Tucker?


He hit a 3 run HR last night and hits one again in the 1st inning off of Scherzer. 3-0 Braves

Braves win 7-1. Folty settles down after a rough 1st inning, 5.1 IP 4 H 1 R 1 ER 2 BB 8 K on 94 pitches. He also helped himself at the plate with a 2 run dbl in the 4th.

Bats are really hot and Folty looked solid once again. Huge series win against the Nats. 4-2 now while waiting for Acuna.

Braves have this super duper rookie of the year candidate still in AAA. He is expected to be called up as soon as
the home team can get an extra year on his contract.

But the Braves have a problem. A great big, wonderful problem. What position does our super rookie play? Well,
who is there, filling in until he gets here? And, how is he doing?

Pitching is the key to the Braves. Right now, hitting is carrying the load. This will not always be so. Pitching is
loaded in the minors and if the guys who are starting right now can't get it done, they will feel the pressure from
those in AA and AAA.

All Atlanta pro teams are looking better and better. Dream have both a new GM and head coach and Angel is returning!
Hawks have gone through their tank year and have good draft picks coming. Falcons should be over their shock they
received at the Super Bowl and be ready for a good season. Expansion soccer team did well and look to be even better.

And, our Braves start the season with two, 2-1 splits. They keep this up and all is well with them.
