Camargo 2 RBI single!!! Braves take the lead again 6-4!!

Inciarte had to jump like 6 ft not to get hit by the low line drive from Camargo. Inciarte was able to stay in stride and score the 2nd run easily.

The Braves have batted around in the 7th, Flowers started the inning with a single and ended it with a pop out to 1b. Braves head to the 8th with a 6-4 lead

This team is better built for the long haul - though I can't lie - I hated to see Simmons go. Still, it was probably the right thing to do trade him.

I thought we were a year away from competing - so happy with this season.

Freeman 2 out 2 RBI dbl!!! Acuna and Inciarte have been on base twice and both scored twice in these first two innings. 4-0 Braves end of the 2nd.

Looks like it could be a short day for Arrieta, 4 runs allowed and 52 pitches in the first two innings.

Well it was a short day for Arrieta, they PH for him in the 3rd.

I don't understand their plan of using starters for 1-4 innings and then using everyone in their pen every day.

Exactly. They don't have the personnel to make it work. If they had relievers that could go 3 innings, it could work, but all their established relievers are used to pitching 1 inning or less per outing.

Philly already on their 3rd pitcher and were only in the 5th. Even though he was struggling, Arrieta must be pissed.
