Good ball game tonight for 7 innings, until Venters came in and stunk it up all over the place. Venters, Brach and Biddle have been struggling the last week or two, now is not the time to struggle.

While the latter is true, I want home field. Do not want to start a series in Colorado.

I'd also like homefield advantage. I'll never buy into the notion that a team has an advantage playing on the road as opposed to home.

Expect a low scoring 1st game with Folty vs Ryu. Ryu's given up a total of 1 run in his last 3 starts (19 innings) and gives up very few walks. He has a crazy 1.15 ERA at home this season - in 54.2 innings. This may sound nuts, but I think Flowers is the key guy in the Braves lineup tonight. He crushes lefties.
