It's a tough few days - played at NY on Sunday, at Colorado today, and then at Toronto starting tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Nats get today off, play 2 games at home against Baltimore, get Thursday off, and then play a home series against Miami. Good thing the Braves are a deep team.

I guess Duvall will be back on September 1st when the roster expands. I think he'll be a factor down the stretch.

Zero to zip after 4. Braves gotta be more patient against Melville - he's a journeyman! This is good Julio Teheran day - against a good lineup. How does he do it? He isn't throwing hard and has a very high percentage of balls, but batters can't hit him. He just refuses to give them pitches to hit.

Sheesh, Melville and Parsons have not only shut out the Braves for 7 innings; they've combined for 9 SO's - in Colorado. Maybe the team is just tired?

Swarzak allowed a leadoff walk in the 9th, Snit going to pen for Blevins.

Blevins strikes out Murphy, then gives up the walk off 2 run HR to McMahon. Rockies win 3-1. Lack of offense was our let down today.

Update on O'Day:

O’Day pitched [in the GCL] Friday, striking out two in a scoreless inning (eight pitches). Manager Brian Snitker anticipates anywhere from 6-8 appearances for O’Day before he’s potentially promoted.
The right-hander is scheduled to pitch again Tuesday before shifting his rehab to Triple-A Gwinnett, where he’ll pitch Friday.

I think the guys were just tired, had to go from NY to Colorado to make up a snow game. Should have been a day off.

Might see little offense tonight too, they traveled to Toronto last night for this quick 2 game series.
