Gotta like the way he's going - SO's have always been a problem with him, but only 1 SO in his last 6 games, and he's upped his OPS to .999. 39 XBH's in 238 at bats! Can play lots of positions. 57 RBI's in 67 games. I'm sure a lot of organizations would have him in the majors now.

Well, the Tigers don't seem impressed with Demeritte, afterall. He's been sent to their alternate camp. The trade for Shane Greene hasn't worked well, so far, for Detroit. Joey Wentz unfortunately had to have TJ surgery back in March. Greene's been up and down with Atl, but his peripherals look fine - I think the Braves are happy with the trade.
