5-0 O's in the 3rd. Touki allowed a run in the 1st and back to back HRs in the 3rd, 3 run HR and solo HR.

His stuff didn't look right in the 1st inning. Predictable and slow.
Now, we need to generate our own offense, but if we letting him pitch, we can just focus on tomorrow.

10-0 O's, Snit pulls Touki with 2 outs and bases loaded, goes with Luke Jackson who allows a 2 RBI single and a 3 run HR.

He did hit well last season - but poorly in small sample size this season. Not that Sandoval would be any better, but tbh in the games I've watched, Riley's been pretty bad defensively this season.

The telling stat of the day to me was Braves pitchers walked Andrew Velazquez 3 times. The guy can't hit at all and has zero power. I mean, at worst he'll get a single if you groove a pitch to him. He's only in there for defense. Walking him 3 times is inexcusable.

O's stomp the crap out of the Braves 14-1. Snit can't manage a bullpen to save his life. Because Tomlin is in rotation, Snit's favorite option for long relief is Luke Jackson. Except Snit doesn't pay attention to numbers. Jackson is not the same since losing the closer role at all star break last season. 34.6 was his strike out percentage last season, this season it's down to 13.1 %. His slider was his money pitch last season, this season he's getting killed with it. He has shown often this season that he should not be brought in when multiple players are on base, yet Snit still continues to bring him in, in those situations. Jackson needs to be DFA'd.

Fried, Hamels and Folty are returning to the rotation to join Anderson and Wright. Put Tomlin back in the pen, bring Newk back up and to the pen, Touki to alternate sight.

Max Fried (back) is expected to return to the Braves' starting rotation Friday against the Mets.

Fried was placed on the injured list September 8, retroactive to September 6, because of a left-side muscle spasm in his lumbar spine, but he's made steady progress and could provide a huge boost for the NL East-leading Braves as they march toward the postseason. The 26-year-old left-hander had posted a 6-0 record, 1.98 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, and 47/17 K/BB ratio over his first 50 innings (nine starts) this season with Atlanta.

Hard to believe Ynoa is pitching so well so far - 5K's, ZERO walks, 2 hits off him in 4 innings.

Yeah it's a shame that he exited after the 4th inning, with a back/hip ailment. He was 3 outs from a win.
