El Duque looked real sharp his last start. Lets hope Davies can match him and our offense can get some clutch hits and take this series!

5-1 will look reaaal nice

Hopefully our bats will wake up tomorrow. I don't like Francoeur hitting in front of McCann. McCann needs someone behind him to turn his hits into runs. I'm also not sure why Wilson has been playing over Thorman (even though Wilson saved the game with that catch).

Should be another good game tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I remember Davies having an excellent game against the Mets last year, hopefully he can come back strong.

McCann bats in the 5th slot when we face a righty, and in the 6th when we face a lefty. Also thorman will be playing against righties while wilson will against lefties.

ourlineup tomm will most likeyl look like this.

Johnson
Renteria
Larry
Druw
McCann
Frenchy
Thorman
Langerhans

I know, but if Thorman is supposed to be our first baseman, he needs to play everyday. LaRoche didn't start playing well until he was the everyday starter.

Regardless of who is pitching I think we're better off with McCann in the 5th spot.

I say start Thorman everyday, and until K. Johnson starts getting on base more frequently, I like McCann in the 6 spot better.

This game started out nice, Davies pitching a great 1st inning, Johnson hitting the HR and Andruw making the amazing catch, but Davies decided to throw BP against Green and Castro.

Other than those two pitches, though, Davies has pitched well for his first game back healthy.

What a sweet, sweet win. Davies pitched great and the Francoeur/McCann duo comes up clutch again. (thank you Chipper, too) Soriano and Wickman were also great as usual.

I'm definitely welcoming the Nats to town with open arms. 8-1 sure would look nice.

Our starting pitching is great, our bullpen is great, our offense is getting timely hits....just like the good ole days of Braves Baseball. Hopefully we can continue this nice strech...

and yeah, 8-1 would be great. We have a good chance tuesday to make it 6-1 with Huddy goin :)

Thank You French and McCann, clutch hits and Davies is a stud, aside from 2 bad pitches, he was outstanding, our bullpen is looking better everyday.

This team is starting to look so good compared to the team last year. It's hard for me to adjust to this bullpen because we can actually trust them now.

Great game fellas. That bullpen is going to be a force. We'll see about your starters though. It couldn't happen to nicer guy than Hampton.

Wow. Man, McCann is doing everyday for us. This kid is speical. Man, if Davis can come close to that for us most of the season, our pitching should be legit
