Is it safe to say that Andruw would be the starting CF for every team in baseball today?
I guess Seattle would move Ichiro to right.
I don't think hes better than Vernon Wells
Grady Sizemore is good out in Cleveland
I think Torii Hunter is better than him.
Carlos Beltran.
Those are the only 5 that compare with him, and I think only Ichiro, Wells, and Hunter are better right now.

What do you guys not get about the stats and the zone rating stuff? The guy checked it out by checking his chances and his pitchers ratios and the scouts are saying the same thing. You guys sitting here saying Andruw is still the greatest defensively are proving the point of how overrated Andruw is.

I pay zero attention to stats and zone rating...zero. I watch how players break on the crack of the bat, the route they take to the ball, and the speed in which they get their. A diving catch doesn't always mean its a great catch, often times a player makes a bad break and the dive helps them recover. Maybe I'm biased because Wells kills the Yankees but hes a hell of a CF.

You got it, don't pay any attention to zone rating. It's what analysts like Jayson Stark use because they can't possibly make a valid judgement on all 750 major leaguers without some sort of assistance.

I'm not even so sure about his arm, we all know that few guys in the league challenge Andruw with comes with reputation of his arm and how good it was or still is. How he could even try to asses that would be hard.
